This workshop highlights a customer-centered workforce development model designed to meet residents where they are by aligning Adult Education and One-Stop operations into a seamless service experience. Speakers from the Job Center of Lake County & Mundelein High School Adult Education (District 120) will share how they created accessible and responsive pathways for English-language learners.

 

The workshop shows coordinated service delivery—through integrated career services, in-depth assessments, and direct connections to industry-recognized training—supports adult learners in identifying realistic career pathways aligned with their skills, interests, and local labor market demand.
